This adorable mom and daughter duo are looking for a furever home together. The larger guinea pig, Princess Porkchop, is about 8-9 months old. She’s from our outer harbor rescue case! Her baby, Buttercup, was born in foster care on September 9, 2025.

They are both kind, gentle, and a little shy at first, but once you pick them up and let them relax on your lap, they settle down nicely and enjoy being held.

 

Both love fresh veggies and treats, with pea flakes being their absolute favorite—they get very excited at snack time!

Porkchop cannot wheek but she does sometimes squeak. Buttercup does plenty of wheeking for both of them.

They would do best in a calm, patient home where they can continue to build confidence. This bonded pair would be perfect for someone who enjoys gentle, quiet pets and daily interaction.

Their adoption fee is $40. All approved adopters will need to provide proof of a guinea pig safe cage that is at least 8 square feet. Cages also need to be well-ventilated with no ramps or wire bottoms.
