His foster Mom writes “This is Salt, another adorable pig from a hoarding case.

 

This little boy was so shy when he first came into my care, but he has been coming out of his shell. He loves to popcorn around his cage when he knows veggies are on the way. He also loves to squeak with a bit of sass if those veggies are given to other pigs first.

 

He is still nervous about being picked up, but he is improving. He happily takes treats from your hand and will stand up on the sides of his cage to beg for them.”

 

Salt’s adoption fee is $25. If you have another male guinea pig, a meet and greet with both boys at the rescue in Williamsville is required.

 

All approved adopters will need to provide proof of a guinea pig safe cage that is well ventilated and at least 8 square feet.
